Our Online Exhibition Since 2000: The Manhattan Arts International annual “HerStory” Online exhibitions (since 2000) will continue my mission to achieve the equality and recognition women artists deserve. For centuries, women artists have inspired, enlightened and informed us with their enormous talent, vision and commitment. Many have served as creative trailblazers. Unfortunately, many of their contributions have gone under-recognized.
Statistics show that art by women artists continues to be undersold and undervalued. With our annual “HerStory” exhibitions we contribute to achieving equality. As a result of our “HerStory” exhibitions thousands of women artists from around the world have received international exposure, career advancement and increased sales. On our website you will also find several articles about women artists from history and interviews with contemporary women artists. ~ Renee Phillips, Founder and Director of Manhattan Arts International
More than 60 Artists are Featured in this Exhibition.

About Renee Phillips, Curator
As Director of Manhattan Arts International I have been presenting ‘HerStory’ Online Exhibitions — art by women artists — since creating this website in 2000. Prior to that I curated several Women’s Exhibitions in public venues throughout NYC, NY. I also served served on advisory boards and as a public speaker for several women’s organizations nationwide. Needless to say, it is one of my important missions — to bring equality in the world of art and give women artists the recognition they deserve.”
“HerStory” 2026 is dedicated to the memory of my sister whose unconditional love, courage and talent were among her many admirable qualities. ~ Renee Phillips
