CALL FOR ARTISTS

An Online Exhibition: January 18 – March 18, 2027
Open to All Artists from All Origins
All Styles ~ All Sizes ~ All Subjects are Welcome. The exhibition will feature a wide variety of creative interpretations of the theme “New Beginnings”. We will present different subjects and all styles — from realism to abstraction — that feature such expressions as dawn, hope, growth, renewal and transformation. Artists may also share their newest creations, art from their new stylistic direction, or their art using a new medium.
All 2-and 3-d art mediums including painting, drawing, sculpture, mixed media, collage, photography, printmaking, digital art, batik, stained glass, and more, are considered. Exceptions: No AI-generated art, installation art, video art, or graphic erotic art.
Requirements
* Artists must be 18 years or older
* Artists must have their own Art Website
* Artists are the original creators of the artwork
* Submissions must be made using JPEG files
Curator: Renee Phillips, Founder and Director of Manhattan Arts International.
Renee’s Selection Process
Submissions are made using an entry form on this website.
We request 2 jpeg entries and a brief statement about what inspired the art.
Renee will visit every artist’s website to view more of their artwork and read their full resumes before making the final selections. Her criteria is based on how well the artist demonstrates creative and technical skills in their chosen mediums.
She will reply to all artists she has selected and will notify the artist which entry she has selected for the exhibition.
About Renee: Prior to establishing the online gallery on this website she curated many exhibitions throughout NYC, NY in corporate spaces, galleries, and art centers. Since she founded this website in 2000 she has given thousands of artists exposure in hundreds of online exhibitions. (You can read more about Renee here)
Fees
There is no entry fee to submit your art.
If accepted and mutually confirmed, a participation fee of $45 is required and paid using PayPal which offers several safe payment options.
Special Recognition Art Awards
Several artists will receive Special Recognition Art Awards in the form of an Art Review or an Interview on this website. Several artists will be selected for promotion on our other website The Healing Power of ART & ARTISTS. More Awards to be announced.
Promotion
Many artists will have their art promoted in Exhibition Promotions across social media before and during the exhibition on a weekly basis. We use several social media platforms and create promotional newsletters.
We Direct Viewers to the Artists’ Websites
The artists’ selected art work will be displayed with links to their websites.
We encourage visitors to contact the artists directly to purchase their art.
