1. As a full-time artist she lives in Dallas, Texas. She is also an Art and V-COM Visual Communications Adjunct Professor at two Colleges. Furthermore, she conducts workshops and seminars and has taught AP studio Art and photography.

2. Her many accolades include being selected for the cover and a featured article in Orinda Living Magazine, March 2022. The artist actively informs and encourages fellow artists as a writer for a blog for Artist Alliance named “Head Talk”. The multi-talented artist has a Doctorate in Educational Psychology and Counseling.

3. Her art is influenced by the Japanese Art of Kintsugi. She is also inspired by Asian styles and philosophies, having lived in Asia for several years. She co-founded Purple Octopus Art, LLC™. Its mission: To provide a platform for art and expressive writing that address human and environmental ailments.

4. She lives in Kutztown, Pennsylvania, and is influenced by “natural phenomena such as weather patterns, sun, rain, and changing seasons and storms.”  She served as the Director of Freyberger Gallery, in PA from 1998 – 2021. Her art is in many collections including Connective Energy, Bethlehem, PA and AT&T, Philadelphia, PA

5. In addition to being an artist she has also brought her creative energy to different modalities of movement, dance and working with others who have a desire to expand their Consciousness and “connect with their own soul.” One of her paintings is featured in “The Healing Power of ART: Resilience 2022” exhibition and also the video on the Manhattan Arts International YouTube channel.

6. As a full-time artist and poet her inspiration comes from “red rocks, desert light, birdsong, the sounds of a rare river running through parched landscapes”. Like Monet, she often begins a painting en plein air and completes it in her studio, although her art follows a more abstract creative direction.

7. Born in Romania, she is American by adoption, and currently resides in Reno, Nevada. She makes frequent trips to Europe and has spent considerable time in Romania and Portugal where she takes her captivating travel photographs.
