Atmospheric Paintings that Hover Between Realism and Abstraction
Jane Foley Ferraro takes the viewer on a joyful journey of wonderment and discovery, where emotion and mood are heighted by atmospheric sensations and tactile terrains. Her paintings may be inspired by nature; however, they emerge from memories and imagination rather than specific references. Her diverse range of skills spans several different mediums, although she primarily uses acrylic paint or oil mixed with cold wax.
