When asked to explain her creative vision and inspiration Anne states, “As a mobile photographer, the natural world is my studio. I find joy knowing that my art resonates with others, bringing a touch of beauty and introspection into their lives. In a world filled with noise, my images whisper quiet truths, inviting viewers to pause, reflect, and find peace in the beauty that surrounds us.”
She further explains, “I look at the natural, mostly botanical, world and what others might pass by, from an unusual perspective. My photography verges on the abstract or painterly, an illustrative rather than literal medium.”

Anne received her formal art education at the University of California Santa Cruz and the San Francisco Art Academy.
As a child Anne’s exposure to the beauty of Oregon’s high desert landscapes served as the early catalyst for her creativity. This passion was later refined amidst the serene Oakland Hills. She was also greatly influenced by her parents — one an architect and the other an interior designer.
Anne divides her time between home in Lafayette, California, and a summer cottage on Lake Superior’s shore, with Ron, daughter Alexandra, and their dogs Dewey and Isabelle.
