SERVICE - WORKS PROJECT GRANT (San Francisco, CA)

QUEENS COUNCIL ON THE ARTS (QUEENS, NY)
The Queens Community Arts Fund

Contact the QCAF director at 718-647-3377 x 15 with any questions or concerns or go to: www.queenscouncilarts.org QCAF is a Regrant program of the Queens Council on the Arts that provides support towards cultural activities in the borough of Queens. Through a competitive panel process, nonprofit organizations and individual artists can apply for funding ensuring the highest quality of arts activities and services within the Queens community. Individual artists must be residents of Queens and organizations must be Queens based and have been in existence for at least on year. The QCAF encourages applicants of any discipline to apply.

CHASHAMA (NEW YORK, NY)
DEADLINE: Ongoing

Chashama Grants: Performance Development and Presentation Residency
For information visit www.chashama.org. Chashama periodically accepts applications for a multi-week Performance Development and Presentation Residency subsidized by the National Endowment for the Arts. This award includes a four-week development residency and a two-week performance run in Chashama's fully equipped black box theater. The award also includes a stipend for artist fees and production materials.


GRANT FOR SCULPTORS
DEADLINE: May 1
The Virginia A. Groot Foundation Grants was established in 1988 to all artists to devote a substantial period of time to the development of his or her work. Each year the Foundation offers three grants (up to $35,000, $10,000, $5,000) to artists who have exceptional talent and demonstrated ability in ceramic sculpture or sculpture. Artists may be at any stage of career development, or older at the time of the application deadline.Applicants must submit up to 20 slides of their work along with the application form. GRANT FOR PHOTOGRAPHERS
The Alexia Foundation offers $15,000 grants to allow professional photographers to produce images that further the foundation’s goal of promoting world peace and cultural understanding. Applicants must submit a proposal for a photo project of no more than 750 words. For complete guidelines and application information, visit www.alexiafoundation.org.

PROJECTS FUNDING
The Lower Manhattan Cultural Council’s Manhattan Community Arts Fund provides grants of up to $2,000 for projects that serve the Manhattan community.
