The healing properties of Art to both the artist and the viewer are undeniable and often miraculous. A fact known to artists for centuries it has been scientifically proven that Art heals by transforming one's physiological state and perception.

Enter the Celebrate The Healing Power of Art juried exhibition, from December 1, 2008 - February 1, 2009. The purpose of this exhibition is to offer winning artists international exposure and to bring attention to the tremendous healing powers of Art.
We invite all artists working in all styles and media to enter the Manhattan Arts International Celebrate The Healing Power of Art competition.JURORS:Renée Phillips, New York, NY. She is the Director of Manhattan Arts International, an author, and has curated more than 50 exhibitions in NYC.Edward Rubin is a NYC based writer. His writings regularly appear in Art & Antiques, ArtUS, Sculpture Magazine, NYArts and Contemporary magazine as well as many ezines. He has presented lectures at the University of Texas and Cooper Union.Jane M. St. Lifer, ASA, New York, NY. She has 30 years experience in the international art world. She is an Accredited Senior Appraiser and gallery owner.
