Photographer Dustin DeBoer lives in southern Minnesota. He developed an appreciation for the outdoors as a child, growing up in a mid-western family who traveled extensively to experience new places. At an early age he discovered how having a camera and a quiet time in a natural setting broadened his whole being.
Dustin earned a Masters degree in Outdoor Education from the University of Minnesota and has held several positions in the field of photography including teaching. He has also worked on environmental projects and initiated development programs for youths. In 2005 he established his own enterprise Solid Rock Photography and web site, www.solidrockphotography.org, aimed at helping people 'Relax, Reflect, and Rejuvenate'.
Dustin has created many different photographic series which exude the awe-inspiring majesty of the natural world, including the Lower Falls of the Yellowstone River in Yellowstone National Park, and other locales. A book of his photographic work has been published titled "Relax, Reflect and Rejuvenate: The Story of Solid Rock Photography", as the artist says, in order to "help others find their passion for life."
The photographer has had several art exhibitions in southern Minnesota including a recent one-person exhibition at Red Rock Center for the Arts. His work is in numerous private collections.
You can also see his fine art photography on Fine Art America (www.fineartamerica.com) where you can purchase his inspiring photographs, prints, calendars and cards.

Robert Nix, Simply Photo
"Dustin is an extraordinary photographer with a keen eye for capturing the sublime in the ordinary. His light-filled photographs reveal the heart and soul of his subjects. I would categorize him among those rare artists who have a genuine gift of healing through art. I highly recommend purchasing or exhibiting his inspiring work for home, office or public space."
